Thoughts I had on the bus
I was on the bus and had a thought. Not many people seem to say 'Thank you' when they get off. That's what I thought, but do you guys say it? It was Friday rush hour, so maybe people were just tired, but I think it's a tricky situation. It's not like you absolutely have to say it, but you can't just never say it either. When I get off, I say 'Thank you' with the feeling of 'Thanks for getting me here safely' and 'Good job'. It feels a bit off when you see others not doing something that you do, right? Anyway, that was my little annoyance.

I usually say 'Thank you' too, but not many people seem to say it. It's just a feeling, so let's not dwell on it too much and move on (^^)

I also say 'thank you' when I get off, but hardly anyone else does. I say it at store checkouts and restaurants (though it's 'thanks for the meal' there) because I'd be happy if someone said it to me.

You say it when you get off. It might be a matter of mindset, but I think greetings are important in these situations.
