What should I do…
This is also a bit of a rant. Today, I was driving down a back road. It's a road that cars frequently use. The road is narrow, so it's difficult for oncoming traffic. Ahead of me, there was a woman, around 40 years old, walking while looking at her smartphone. I was driving slowly, but she didn't notice me at all... And she was walking right in the middle of the road, so I couldn't even swerve. I stopped the car, but she still didn't notice and continued walking and looking at her phone. I thought, 'I'm going to hit her,' so I gave a light honk. She finally looked up at the sound of the horn and seemed to realize my car was right in front of her. She quickly moved to the side, so I slowly drove past. After driving a short distance, I looked in the rearview mirror and saw her running after my car, holding her phone out with her arm extended. I could see her furious expression... I thought, 'Ah, this is someone I shouldn't get involved with,' and just kept driving. Or rather, was this my fault…?

It's the other person's fault. If it were a sidewalk, maybe, but walking right in the middle of a road where cars pass, looking at their phone without noticing, and then not admitting they were wrong, were they perhaps taking a picture of the license plate with their phone? Not too long ago, there was a YouTube video of someone on a bicycle who was clearly in the wrong but shamelessly took a picture of the license plate and owner with their phone... Those kinds of people always have a terrifying expression on their faces... They're the type you shouldn't get involved with...
