Story about a close call due to a wrong medication prescription
At the hospital I always go to, the pharmacy there prescribed my morning medication to be taken at night. I noticed it right away and called the doctor to confirm, and it turned out they had indeed made a mistake, which was a relief. I take a lot of medications daily, but because I had a firm grasp on all of them, I was able to prevent a problem. It taught me the importance of remembering and the value of a medication record book. Everyone, be careful because doctors can sometimes make prescription errors. By the way, all the types of medication were correct.

That must have been really tough, I'm just glad you're okay. Your judgment in feeling something was off with the prescription and immediately taking action to confirm it is truly admirable. It's an episode that really makes one keenly feel the importance of having correct knowledge about medication.

Shouldn't you be surprised that the pharmacist didn't ask for clarification...?! Glad you're safe...! So it's better to have a medication record book, huh...
