Found a good game, maybe?

I've only just started, so it might change later, but my impression is that it's a game where you follow the story. The combat involves moving each character to a desired position and issuing commands. Is it similar to Fire Emblem or something like that? I'm finding myself needing to follow several story developments, and the world-building is solid, so remembering all the names is a bit confusing. However, the game balance isn't broken, and I don't feel pressured to spend money, so I'm enjoying it so far.
