Grumble
It's a grumble. Sorry. Today, my mom is sick in bed, so I'm doing all the housework. This morning, my dad didn't wipe the table after eating, which made me so mad (I tell him every day, but he never changes). He left the detergent with about 1mm left, just abandoned it. I went through the trouble of grocery shopping, and even though my dad was at the entrance, he didn't say a single word of 'welcome home' or show any gratitude, as if it were expected. He walked past me silently while I was cooking and went to watch TV in the living room. These small things make me feel like he doesn't see me as his daughter but just someone who does chores. My self-esteem is chipped away little by little every day, and I'm at my limit. I ended up yelling, wanting him to stop this already. But even with this outburst, nothing seemed to get through to my dad. He just continued to ignore me and went to sleep... Now I have to do the dishes and clean the bathroom... I'm seriously starting to consider hospitalization. 🥲 I feel like I'm going to break if I stay in this house... I just wanted to be cherished by someone. I did my best today... right...?

You must be really tired. Well, I understand how you feel, but that's pretty much how most guys are. You can't expect much from men. Your mom probably just got used to it, so she's doing it without saying anything. It must be tough, but I think the burden will lessen once your mom recovers from her cold, so please hang in there a little longer.

I can't easily say "Thank you," "Sorry," or "I love you" to a male friend.
