Is it because I'm getting old? ð
I used to love ramen so much ð I'd eat it 3-4 times a week, whether it was instant ramen at home or at a ramen shop ð Now it's about once a month ð I still eat out 2-3 times a week, but I tend to look for set meal restaurants, not ramen shops. Instant ramen just doesn't taste good to me anymore ð± I guess it really is because I'm getting old... ðŠðŠ

As the years go by, what your body naturally craves also changes. Caring for a tired stomach is an important step in managing your health. It's wise to cherish who you are now, rather than chasing after your youth.

I really get that. Lately, I've been thinking that even when eating instant food, you need some kind of buffer. I tend to overthink about balance and nutrition.

I think food preferences change with age, though some people don't change much. It really depends on the personð

I can basically enjoy instant ramen and steamed vegetables, but sometimes I feel like nothing I eat is 'it'. It usually goes away after a while. If it's not because of heavy fats, maybe your body is craving something specific, regardless of age.

Things get tough with oily food from your 30s onwards... I know I did ðŠ Tonkotsu ramen might be even tougher. Noodles expand too, and if your appetite has decreased, it might not be the oiliness but the sheer quantity that's difficult... ð¥

Rather than thinking it's due to age, I think it's better to consider it a blessing from having a 'healthy and sound body'âš Instant ramen might taste good, but that's just the flavor of chemical seasonings you're perceiving, not the deliciousness of natural flavors ð I think your experience and body's sensors are picking up on that difference! Every day I go to McDonald's (drinking black coffee), but I haven't eaten a hamburger in over 5 years ð Every now and then when I'm hungry and eat fries, I think, 'They're delicious, but it's a devilish seasoning that makes you want to eat them over and over, a dangerous poison taste,' and I don't want to eat them for a while ð After all, natural, organic ingredients taste the best, right? âšð
