Seeking Personal Space!

Does anyone else get people who stand too close in line? I can manage the distance with the person in front of me, but it's really troublesome when the person behind me crowds in. It's one thing in a tight space, but why do they have to get so close they bump into my bag even when there's plenty of room? Is there any way to deal with this?..
