True Essence Geisha *Long Post

The True Essence Geisha outfit is getting a lot of flak, but personally, I really love it…. Speaking of Western-style geishas, last year's new Halloween UR was also Western-style, but I don't recall it causing such a stir… or maybe I just didn't notice? 🤔 I understand why many people say, "If it's this outfit, Marie would have been better!" though…. Like a geisha, this… stylish dress? I mean, Marie's outfits often have a fluffy, spread-out skirt, but since geishas are originally from kimonos, a sleek, vertical, non-fluffy dress suits them incredibly well…. Many people prefer the kimono style, but there's a high chance they can't easily touch upon such things due to Sino-Japanese relations. Also, the suit-like upper body part actually gives off a vibe of a capitalist woman from the Meiji era, which I quite like. Since it's a gacha UR, it's probably difficult to change it now, and Marie just got a new panda outfit recently, right? I'd appreciate any opinions….
