A true story-based thriller drama depicting a lawyer who, moved by a 10-year-old girl who made the shocking confession of killing her 7-year-old brother, based on the actual Chilgok stepmother child abuse death case that occurred in Korea in 2013, races to uncover the truth. ~Synopsis~ Jeong-yeop, who was working temporarily at a child welfare center before graduating from law school and getting a job at a law firm, meets siblings Da-bin and Min-jun, who are being abused by their stepmother. Although Jeong-yeop initially didn't take it seriously, when the younger brother Min-jun dies and the older sister Da-bin is accused of his murder, he feels something is wrong and decides to take on Da-bin's defense. (Quoted from movie.com) I cried watching this~~~~~~😭 The abuse scenes are so painful to watch, but I was sobbing at the end. ˚‧º·(ฅдฅ｡)‧º·˚. It really touched my heart. I was so moved by how the protagonist, who initially seemed bothered by the children as if thinking 'kids...', got invested and became passionate 😭 This is one of the works I highly recommend you watch! 🥹
