I was drawn in by the performer in Resident Evil, and it was really fun.

This movie is 3 Bears: Blood-Soaked Feast A truly Z-grade film that turns a famous fairy tale into horror🧸 The youngsters dutifully follow the original story's progression of 'randomly drinking soup, breaking chairs, and sleeping in beds,' but over half the runtime is spent on these descriptions, making the pacing poor🧸 The '3 Bears' that finally appear look like store-bought rubber masks, and the cheapness overshadows any sense of fear. It seems like a project capitalizing on the hit of 'Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey,' but the latter half of the movie was unnecessarily intenseʕ•ᴥ•ʔ As a film, the quality is still developing, so it's not a recommended watch unless you're someone who can laugh at the abundant, cheap B-movie elements ( ´ཫ` )ｸﾞﾊｧ It's definitely a bad end🐻🧸🐻🧸🐻🧸🐻🧸

Spike Lee, director of "Malcolm X," has adapted a non-fiction novel about a Black detective who infiltrated the white supremacist organization "KKK (Ku Klux Klan)" into a film. ~Synopsis~ In 1979, Ron Stallworth is hired as the first Black detective at the Colorado Springs Police Department in Colorado. Despite being treated coldly by his white colleagues, Ron is passionate about his investigations. On impulse, he calls the KKK recruitment ad he saw in the newspaper, spewing racist remarks and managing to secure an interview to join the group. However, since Ron is Black, he cannot meet the KKK members in person. He decides to cooperate with his colleague, a white detective named Flip. Ron handles the phone calls, while Flip handles the in-person meetings, and together they pose as one person to carry out the undercover investigation into the KKK... (Quoted from Eiga.com) At first, I thought it was a bit lighthearted for the subject matter... but the mood gradually became more serious 😱 It was shocking that it was a true story too! ⚡️ Actual footage was used, doubling the shock, but it was educational... I learned about the KKK through this movie! ⚡️ Movies often teach you a lot... (･ ･ )

Based on the stage play "Le Pere" (The Father), which has been performed in over 30 countries worldwide including Japan, this film depicts the loss due to aging and the wavering bond between parent and child from the perspective of a father whose memory and sense of time are becoming confused. ~Synopsis~ 81-year-old Anthony, living alone in London, is beginning to lose his memory due to dementia but refuses the caregiver arranged by his daughter, Anne. Around this time, Anne tells Anthony that she will be moving to Paris with her new lover. However, a strange man appears at Anthony's apartment, claiming to have been married to Anne for over 10 years and that this is his and Anne's home. Furthermore, Anthony should have another daughter, Lucy, but she is nowhere to be seen. As the boundary between reality and illusion blurs, Anthony arrives at a certain truth. (Quoted from Eiga.com) Anthony Hopkins' acting was so incredible... 😭 It's precisely because his performance is so realistic that it becomes even more heartbreaking at times 😭 I thought it was so well-made. It really makes you think, 'If you change your perspective, it looks like that,' 🥹 It's definitely worth watching, so if you have time or when you think of it, I'd be happy if you could give it a watch 🫶

This is a two-volume work by Junji Ito 🐟 It's a panic horror depicting the terror of everyday life completely collapsing due to an unknown threat that suddenly appears one day 🐟 It starts with 'strange anomalies' happening around individuals, but they quickly spread to the region, and then across Japan...('-' ギョ)з This masterpiece is sure to resonate with those who want to be overwhelmed by its impactful and bizarre world, not just its scares, and those who want to enjoy the thrill of a B-movie-like panic with incredibly high-quality art 🐟 However, please be aware that it may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to splatter scenes or grotesque body horror 🐟🐟

This is a TV anime based on Shotaro Ishinomori's manga of the same name, with its setting significantly rearranged into a modern/near-future sci-fi style 🎶 It was an intense experience where my head was full of question marks, yet I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Unlike typical anime, 'Gilgamesh' offers no straightforward catharsis (sense of exhilaration) like 'defeating the enemy and resolving everything!'. It's filled with jargon, and the characters each act based on their own philosophies and egos, making it seem truly 'incomprehensible' at first glance. Still, the reason I watched it until the end might be because of the work's 'ineffable, strange charm (magic)'?? Even now, seeing the ending leaves me thinking 🤔 Spoiler ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ It's recommended for those who like bad endings.

Popular action star Dwayne Johnson teams up with comedy actor Kevin Hart in this action-comedy about a former bullied CIA agent and a once-popular but now ordinary accountant who get caught up in a massive conspiracy. ~Synopsis~ Calvin, a middle-aged accountant who was a high school superstar but is now living a lackluster life, receives a contact from Bob, who used to be a chubby, bullied kid, wanting to meet after 20 years. To Calvin's surprise, Bob, who appears before him when he reluctantly agrees to meet, has transformed into a muscular CIA agent. Bob, claiming he's being framed and is being chased by his organization, asks for Calvin's help, and Calvin finds himself on the run with him... Dwayne Johnson, who is the same as my icon, is active! 💪 The former bullied kid became a ripped CIA! 💪 Muscles are justice!!! Anyway, it was good that I could watch it without thinking too much (*^^*) lol It was a movie recommended for watching casually when you have free time lol

A romantic comedy depicting the commotion surrounding a high school student born via artificial insemination and her parents. ~Synopsis~ A Black high school girl is shocked to learn the secret of her birth: she was conceived through artificial insemination. Furthermore, she discovers that the sperm donor was a white man and decides to go meet him... (Quoted from Netflix) Something like this is nice 👍 Just the synopsis of being born via artificial insemination and searching for her father might suggest a somewhat heavy plot, but it turned out to be a comedy, so it was a movie you could enjoy with a light heart. ✨ Whoopi Goldberg added a nice touch 🫶😎 If you have some free time, I'd be happy if you'd watch it when you think of it 👀

A true story-based thriller drama depicting a lawyer who, moved by a 10-year-old girl who made the shocking confession of killing her 7-year-old brother, based on the actual Chilgok stepmother child abuse death case that occurred in Korea in 2013, races to uncover the truth. ~Synopsis~ Jeong-yeop, who was working temporarily at a child welfare center before graduating from law school and getting a job at a law firm, meets siblings Da-bin and Min-jun, who are being abused by their stepmother. Although Jeong-yeop initially didn't take it seriously, when the younger brother Min-jun dies and the older sister Da-bin is accused of his murder, he feels something is wrong and decides to take on Da-bin's defense. (Quoted from movie.com) I cried watching this~~~~~~😭 The abuse scenes are so painful to watch, but I was sobbing at the end. ˚‧º·(ฅдฅ｡)‧º·˚. It really touched my heart. I was so moved by how the protagonist, who initially seemed bothered by the children as if thinking 'kids...', got invested and became passionate 😭 This is one of the works I highly recommend you watch! 🥹

A human drama starring Lee Byung-hun, depicting the bond between two brothers: a fallen former professional boxer and his younger brother who has savant syndrome and possesses genius-level piano skills. ～Synopsis～ Jo-ha, once an Asian champion boxer, is now a down-and-out man in his 40s, living day to day. Having lived a lonely life relying on his fists since childhood after being separated from his parents, Jo-ha reunites with his mother, from whom he'd been apart for 17 years. He learns for the first time about his younger brother, Jin-tae, who has savant syndrome. His mother asks Jo-ha to look after Jin-tae, who has a genius talent for playing the piano, so he can compete in a contest. Jo-ha begins to take care of his brother... . (Quoted from Eiga.com) Korea is great at making human dramas, aren't they? 🫶 It made me cry 😭 The piano scene was the best 😭👏✨ When you have free time, give it a watch if you remember 👀✨
