The current meta in Clash of Clans has been quite chaotic lately. In the season before last, single-target dealers were getting wiped out because of the Ronin... Then the overpowered 'Hisaker Jin Elva' swept the meta... Because of this, Hog decks tend to show strength when bridge spam decks increase, and Hog Rider sometimes avoids nerfs, so Clash of Clans currently has some balance issues. So, what's the best deck this season? It's Gibe-Mu. With the Fireball and Tornado, you can now defend easily. It's also a strong counter-deck to Hog Rider, And there are many choices like Jin-Knight, Hi-Knight, etc. This meta is Gibe-Mu's time to shine, becoming a meta deck for the first time in two and a half years.

Today, we'll be looking into Clash Royale's balance patch criteria. We'll also discuss the recent controversy surrounding the Hog Rider nerf and the new card, Mini P.E.K.K.A. Giant. So, what are Clash Royale's balance patch criteria? It's pick rate. Of course, we're not looking at the pick rate in the mid-to-low trophy ranges, but rather the Legendary Arena (L.A.) standard. Specifically, we mainly look at the Top 200 players. Cards that lead to victory (cards that directly hit the opponent's tower), i.e., win conditions, number 34, including the new card Mini P.E.K.K.A. Giant. So, win conditions usually have an average pick rate of around 3-6%. This time, the Giant Skeleton, which was balanced, hit 10% and got nerfed. Hog Rider, however, is at a whopping 15%? 'Why aren't other cycle cards, spells, or support cards with high pick rates being nerfed?' That's because versatile cards are used for their 'irreplaceability,' regardless of their pick rate. Now, let's talk about the performance of the new card, Mini P.E.K.K.A. Giant. To put it bluntly, it's overpowered. It's only been out for a day, but its pick rate in Grand Challenges is in the 30% range, with a win rate of 60%. This is pretty much a guaranteed nerf.

Let's just say it's OP. Maybe it hasn't been fully researched in the top tiers yet, as it's not being used much, but it has great stats. I think it needs its first attack speed nerf + either a range nerf or a health nerf. For those who don't know, Musketeer + Archer can't defend against it. Even bats can only take about 2 hits.

In the current Clash Royale meta, the Hog Rider's pick rate is exceeding 15% based on the top 200 leaderboard. Feel free to share your opinions!
