My assistant manager got roped into something and left a review for Zenless Zone Zero.. I'm not really interested in mobile in-app purchase games, so I passed on it on Steam too.. but I decided to give it a try.. It's always popping up on PS, so I went to download it and it was 110GB...?? That's a huge amount of space.. I figured my Steam Deck would struggle with storage and performance, so I went with the PS version.. As expected from a HoYoverse title, the fundamentals are solid.. but it's more than that, the combat system is really fun and well-made. Especially the part where you switch characters during a parry timing to use skills, that's pretty neat and seems to give squad management meaning..? It's an Action RPG, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into the combat. It's different from your typical run-of-the-mill subculture games.. I also really liked the story progression and the way they handled the cutscenes.. It wasn't boring to watch the story unfold. And the PS version really paid attention to the controller vibration and sound effects.. I was a bit disappointed there were no adaptive triggers, but the tactile feedback was great.. If it were a perfect open world, it might have been even more to my taste ㅋㅋ

There's an influencer (YouTuber) named Maibu who has cosplayed Warframe's flashy characters. I don't know what this game is or which character it is, but she reportedly spent two whole months crafting the costume just for this event. It seems the Warframe development team was really pleased, recognizing her efforts!

I definitely started this as a dishwashing job, but now I'm just scratching lotteries... The game is called Scritchy Scratchy! It's a game where you earn money by washing dishes → buy lotteries with that money → and upgrade with the winnings. At first, you just wash dishes as your boss tells you: 5 won for each one you wash, -5 won if you break one by mistake... With the money you earn, you start buying and scratching lotteries. It starts with 10 won tickets, and as you level up, new lotteries unlock. You can also save up money to upgrade, and eventually, you even get a machine that scratches lotteries automatically. But seriously, once you get a taste of the real lotteries, dishwashing, your main job, just doesn't catch your eye anymore... (Sorry, boss) Especially when you hit the jackpot, the thrill is insaneㅠㅠ I can't stop once I've tasted this... 😭 You can just zone out and scratch, and time just flies by. Steam reviews: Very Positive / Korean language supported / Free demo available! It's simple but definitely delivers dopamine, so I recommend giving it a try!

The Asian Games have started...? I had no idea because I was watching anime all day... But when I looked it up, guess what... they even added a few esports titles... No way, Puyo Puyo and Pokemon Unite...? or something like that got added.. ㅋㅋ Personally, I'm not sure if it's right to add esports titles to the Asian Games... Shouldn't physical sports and game sports be operated separately instead of being grouped together? I'm not trying to put esports down... but is there really a need to lump them into one category? It's not like I don't watch the matches, but from a viewer's perspective, it's still something I don't quite understand... Am I thinking too old-fashioned? Hmm..

Despite being a humanities major, I wasn't bad at math. I enjoyed exploring numbers and mental calculation, but the most annoying thing about this game was the ads. 😵💫 They pop up way too often. It's fun because you can play it with mental math, but the frequent ads are stressful enough to make me consider quitting my job.

A few days ago, Beatflow-nim really convinced (?) me to try Zenless Zone Zero, so I ended up playing it lololol At first, I thought it was a mobile game, but then I found out... (What?? You can play it on Steam too?) Well then, I gotta play on the big screen! ~ I immediately downloaded and started playing! Simply put, it's an action RPG where you collect characters, form a party, and fight by switching them out. After playing it myself, the combat is actually way more fun than I expected. Dodging attacks, timing the switches, and using skills feels great, and the impact of the hits is awesome~ The controls aren't difficult either, so I got used to it quickly! The character designs are really well done, and the story presentation feels like watching an anime, so it's visually enjoyable too. Free to play on Steam/mobile! There are paid items and gacha elements, and it supports Korean dubbing and account linking. I'm still in the early stages, but I think I'll be playing this for a long time!
