This film depicts the spring days of a fresh college student who followed her crush to a university in Tokyo. The lyrical atmosphere, where excitement and awkwardness intertwine amidst scenery of fluttering cherry blossoms, is exquisite. Director Shunji Iwai's signature delicate direction and Takako Matsu's pure acting come together, creating a beautiful collection of vignettes that quietly awakens the memories of innocent first love that everyone holds in their hearts.

This is the American fantasy comedy film [Stranger Than Fiction], starring Will Ferrell, released in 2006. Harold Crick, an IRS agent, one day hears a woman's voice in his head accurately describing his actions. Then, the woman predicts that Harold Crick is about to die, and the incident begins. The voice belongs to Karen, a famous female novelist, and Harold finds himself the protagonist of the novel she is writing. It's a comedy film that playfully unravels a quirky and complex imagination, making it a stress-free and enjoyable watch.

It's a movie that left many famous lines. It's an unofficial 10 million-viewer movie that gained more popularity after its release than during its opening. I used to watch it a lot on OCN reruns. "Did you have to take everything like that to feel satisfied?!"

This is [ 23 Identity ], the second film in M. Night Shyamalan's trilogy. (The original title is Split, but because a Korean movie with a similar title was released around the same time, it was changed to 23 Identity. This unfortunately turned into a non-spoiler spoiler...) Starring the well-known actor James McAvoy, this movie begins with a malevolent personality among the 23 distinct identities kidnapping and imprisoning teenage girls. Through the girls' escape attempts and the protagonist's confrontation with his multiple personalities, the film creates a chaotic situation, heightens the tension, and ultimately gives birth to the 24th personality, the protagonist known as [The Beast]. Up to this point, it feels like another one of Shyamalan's well-made thrillers, but the twist at the very end elevates this movie into the core of a grand trilogy. I highly recommend this film, which boasted excellent acting and brilliant direction.

Directed by Nam Dong-hyup and starring Lee Sung-min and Lee Hee-joon, this film is a hilarious occult comedy about two rugged-looking but angelically pure men who dream of a peaceful rural life, only to awaken a sealed evil spirit. Epic "Crispy Outside, Moist Inside" Characters: The comedic chemistry between 'Jae-pil' (Lee Sung-min) and 'Sang-gu' (Lee Hee-joon), who possess extreme innocence hidden behind intimidating appearances that invite misunderstanding, generates immense laughter. A Fresh Blend of Comedy and Occult: Starting with slapstick comedy, the increasingly uncontrollable occult and gore situations create a hilariously perfect ensemble. Physical Acting That Surpasses the Original: This film cleverly reinterprets the core fun of the original movie, "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil," with Korean sentiment and fresh character settings. This is the ultimate entertainment movie for days when you want to laugh your heart out without any heavy thinking.

Now do you know who you are? I know who I am. I was not a failure! It all makes sense now! Do you know how you can tell if someone's a villain in a comic book? He's the opposite of the hero. And most heroes and villains are friends, like you and me! This is Unbreakable, a hidden masterpiece by M. Night Shyamalan, the director who hit it big with twist movies. It's about a protagonist with superhuman strength and invulnerability, who can also discern a person's past sins through touch, and a villain who gets hurt by even the slightest impact like glass and commits crimes to find a hero. It's a story that begins with the meeting of these two individuals, leading to a twist and conclusion. While it leans more towards a thriller than a typical superhero movie, it also marks the beginning of M. Night Shyamalan's cinematic universe. If you enjoy plot twists and perfectly executed foreshadowing, I highly recommend it.

This is a comedy about a man who has lived his life planning every moment down to the second, and what happens when he meets an unpredictable and quirky indie singer. The process of breaking free from his rigid, obsessive framework and embracing unexpected changes in his daily life unfolds in a delightful and heartwarming way. With the unique chemistry between Jung Jae-young and Han Ji-min, and vibrant music, this film offers comfortable laughter and warm healing for our weary daily lives.

If you're going to watch it, I definitely recommend seeing it in 4DX. I can't say much because of spoilers, but... it's really just a movie for the chase scenes, nothing more, nothing less lol. Still, it wasn't bad for killing time. ㅎ But seriously, they say it had the biggest production budget of any Korean film ever, but is this CG really what they went with??
