The official start of the holiday break and for the first night's feast, I indulged in a premium 1++ Korean beef assortment set. It literally melts in your mouth the moment you put it in ㅠㅠ Paired with a glass of robust Chilean red wine, it perfectly cuts through the richness of the beef, making it endlessly enjoyable. Plus, with 6 snow crabs and green grapes added, it was a perfect family night wine party 🍷🥩

My grandma asked to play Go-Stop, so I had a round with my family at our place ㅎㅎ

After arriving in Sokcho and having lunch, since check-in wasn't until 3 PM, I visited the 'Songjinho Sea Sky Trail' in Goseong, Gangwon-do during the remaining time. The admission fee is 5,000 won per adult. I walked on the sea to the observatory and then returned to the entrance. It took about 50 minutes round trip, making it a nice, easy walk for a stroll. It was a bit disappointing that the weather was cloudy and I couldn't see the clear view I had hoped for, but I still had a pleasant and relaxing time enjoying the cool sea breeze.

Heading to Sokcho, where my maternal grandparents live, for the Chuseok holiday! 🚗 Since the highway is usually jammed, we tend to exit midway and take National Route 44 (Seorak-ro). After passing through the Cheoljeong Tunnel on the national road, we made a quick stop at 'Hwayanggang Rest Area' around 8:30 AM. As expected from its reputation as a great spot for Hongcheongang River views, it was already packed with people, and the parking lot was full of cars. ✨ Unfortunately, we gave up on eating udon at the restaurant, but we bought some nicely grilled corn and chicken skewers from the outdoor snack bar instead. We enjoyed them in the car while admiring the beautiful scenery of the Hongcheongang River. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Chuseok holiday! 😊

It's a holiday, but I woke up early. That way, I can play all day long. The long weekend has begun. Hope everyone has a great time.

I ate breakfast late and had quite a few snacks, so I haven't had lunch yet and plan to eat later. But since it's around the time most people would have finished lunch, I was curious and wanted to ask!
