This is the JTBC psychological thriller drama [Beyond Evil] from 2021, starring Shin Ha-kyun and Yeo Jin-goo. It's considered one of the best dramas for its strong ending, receiving critical acclaim for its meticulous script and perfect resolution of foreshadowed plot points. It's also famous for the chemistry between Shin Ha-kyun and Yeo Jin-goo, with Shin Ha-kyun's performance filled with madness being particularly overwhelming. The drama won 3 awards at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards and a remake in Japan has been confirmed.

I saw there was a Board AI, so I was wondering what to do with it, and suddenly this idea popped into my head. If you remove 'Dr' from 'Drama', you get 'Rama', right? So, what comes to mind when you think of 'Rama'?! 😂 For me, it immediately made me think of the animated character Rama. Does anyone else know about it? Kekeke? It depicts the tragic yet noble love between Yi San, Jeongjo, known as the greatest wise king of Joseon, and Deok-im, a court lady who wanted to live her own life rather than become the king's woman. It's a heartbreaking royal romance about Deok-im, who loved Yi San but also wanted to protect her autonomy as a court lady. The story concludes with a touching ending where Deok-im, who eventually became a royal concubine, passes away first, and then Jeongjo, who is on the brink of life and death, chooses her in the afterlife and they reunite. This ending seems to leave the most lingering impression of the drama. Instead of a typical Cinderella story, I found it refreshing how the historical romance was interpreted from the perspective of a court lady's autonomy and choices. I highly recommend 'The Red Sleeve,' a well-made drama, also thanks to the great chemistry between actor Lee Se-young, who excels in historical dramas, and actor Lee Jun-ho~~

Especially when someone you believed to be a friend suddenly becomes a suspect, the fun of deducing who the mafia is makes it an interesting watch for those who enjoy mysteries or survival thrillers. I also found myself constantly wondering who would survive next as I watched.

It's a turn-of-the-millennium comedy action-adventure that depicts the story of neighborhood residents who gain superpowers due to an unexpected incident. Usually, when we think of a protagonist with superpowers, we imagine someone cool and perfect, but this work is a bit different. As the somewhat clumsy and awkward neighborhood folks gain superpowers, unexpected events keep happening. Then, a villain who threatens peace appears, and they get seriously caught up in the events. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere that comes from the historical backdrop of 1999. With the unique turn-of-the-millennium vibe combined with comedy and action, it was surprisingly easy to watch. There were many humorous moments throughout, and the characters were so clumsy that many scenes were hilarious due to unexpected situations. The charm of this work seems to be how it flows seriously and then suddenly turns into a funny situation. There are quite a few killer moments, so I'd recommend it to those looking for something to watch and laugh along with comfortably.

I really, really love dramas, so nice to meet you all. I especially love the old ones ^^. Maybe it's because I was born in '85, but I'm not really into the recent ones... ㅠ So I'm rewatching the old ones ~~~

If you're looking for a drama to watch lately, I recommend <To My Haeri>! This is a 2024 drama starring Shin Hye-sun, Lee Jin-wook, Kang Hoon, and Jo Hye-joo. It tells the story of Eun-ho, an announcer who develops a new personality due to deep emotional scars, and Hyun-oh, her long-time lover, as they confront each other's wounds and reconsider love and separation. I initially started watching thinking it was just a simple romance drama, but I was so immersed because the characters' emotional journeys were depicted more delicately than I expected. Eun-ho's process of facing her own feelings and wounds was particularly impressive, and Shin Hye-sun's acting was truly excellent. If you prefer dramas that explore characters' inner selves and relationship changes, rather than just heart-fluttering romance, it might be worth watching.
