What makes a good leader?
I've been in the corporate world for quite a while, but I've never experienced anything as messed up as this. I used to like the company I worked for. Even though there was a lot of work and I was stressed by people, I had affection for it. But lately, I wonder if this is even the company I knew. It's amazing how much difference one leader can make. A leader with low self-esteem, high pride, who blames others, and is incompetent destroys the company.

I really relate to this. That's why depression often hits people in their 40s and 50s ใ ใ

Yeah, those kinds of people often don't think about their own incompetence and just blame others ๐ฎโ๐จ

OMG, I totally get how one leader can completely change the vibe ใ ใ It makes me sad to hear you're feeling disillusioned with a company you used to love. You must have had a tough day, I hope you can treat yourself to something delicious to cheer up!

Ah.. leaders.. bosses.. they seem important. Even after working hard.. a simple 'You worked hard' or 'Thanks to you' makes me feel recognized and energized.. On the other hand, if they only blame others, I feel like asking 'Who do you think is making all this work happen, to talk like that?' and just want to quit..๐คจ

People are the hardest, aren't they? I've been through it too, so I understand how you feel.

I really relate to this. My current company is the worst, but it's hard to switch jobs because of my age... It's a tough problem.
