I think most of you would agree that North Korea will disappear soon. The problem is what comes next. Disappearing doesn't mean it becomes a land where no one lives, like a dungeon appearing in a fantasy. Nor does it mean the land of North Korea itself disappears and South Korea becomes an island nation. In other words, if we don't take the land of North Korea, another country will. Where could that be? Considering its location and greed, it's highly likely to be China. Therefore, to prevent China from taking North Korean territory, we must consider taking it ourselves, meaning we need to prepare for unification. If no one wanted North Korean land, that might not be so bad. But that won't happen. If we don't unify, China will take it, thinking 'Awesome, freebie!' That's why we must prepare for unification. Not because we like North Korea, but to keep it from China.
