You should only convert duplicate characters you don't need into NP. Also, it's better to just use basic and EX characters as they are, even if you convert them to NP, you only get 1.

From now on, if you pull a character, convert everything you used XP for into NP, and get XP from elsewhere. Also, it's better not to worry about NP in the early game.
