A Taste of a New World

The sky today isn't as interesting or clear as it was yesterday. I was tempted to reuse old photos, using the sky as an excuse. It's taking me longer to take pictures, and I'm starting to feel lazy. Even without cleaning my lens, my hand reached for my phone and started a new challenge. After cleaning my lens a few days ago and noticing the glare was gone, I gained courage and like Icarus flying towards the sun, I pointed my camera right at it. I was always afraid of shooting towards the sun because the light would bleed, and I used to avoid the sun even when taking sunset photos. I had a good feeling while shooting, and the results are incredibly satisfying. I've been living like a fool. It felt like I discovered a new world. I can't believe it was all solved by just cleaning the lens. I wish my skills would improve so I could reduce the number of shots I take.
