I agree that luck accounts for 70%, but I believe the remaining 30% of skill is ultimately what matters. Even if luck is on your side 70% of the time, if you haven't prepared the other 30%, you'll only achieve 70%. Those who have prepared their 30% can achieve close to 100% success when luck favors them with 70%.

As someone with 99 luck and 1 effort, I really relate to a lot of this. No matter how lucky you are, things won't get done without effort. Even with a brilliant idea, if you don't create it, it can't become yours, right?^-^ I'm very glad to have come across a post that makes one think. Well read.
