Usaquén Flea Market in Bogotá, the Capital of Colombia
Back when I was living in South America 10 years ago, I had a hobby of wandering around aimlessly on weekends.. A friend recommended a place called Usaquén, saying it had a flea market selling handicrafts, so I went there once.. I think it was held every other week.. Since it was a place where many people gathered, there were food trucks, performances on the way, and lots of other things to see. There were police officers stationed in various places, so it was a surprisingly safe area.. On the day I took photos, I might have arrived a bit early because many places seemed to be still setting up. Mate tea is very famous in Argentina, and they sold that kind of tea too.. I remember they sold a lot of really useless trinkets.. As I was leisurely browsing, the ladies would make a fuss, urging me to take a look... Actually, they probably thought I was a tourist and tried to overcharge me, but when I responded entirely in Spanish, they looked a bit embarrassed.. I should look for photos of famous markets in Argentina next.. I wonder if I'll ever get to go to South America again, since it's so far away..?

OMG, I burst out laughing at the part where you flustered the merchants in Spanish! Even though it's from 10 years ago, the vibe of the photos is so hip and cool. I'm already looking forward to the photos of the Argentinian market you'll show next!
