You can't believe what the boss says at work... ^^
With the country's economy being tough, many industries must be taking a hit. Of course, there are probably some thriving businesses despite the circumstances. My company is also in a tougher spot day by day. Other businesses have already undergone restructuring and layoffs, but our boss firmly said, 'We won't be cutting staff, we absolutely won't do that,' just 3 months ago. However, within the last week, a layoff order came down, and 5 out of our team's 20 members were cut. I guess I should be thankful that I didn't have to point fingers myself, and that I wasn't the one directly affected... It really makes you think a lot.....

ㅠㅠ I bet the Lion also had to put their head in their hands and cut staff due to the worsening situation... It's a shame.. I would have had a lot of thoughts too if I were in that position..

You probably didn't want to be part of the downsizing. A company is ultimately a group that exists for profit... Even if they backtrack on their word from yesterday, there's nothing to say, right? Is there any job where you get paid by others that's easy..😔 I hope you cheer up..^^;

It seems like a situation where no one can be blamed or held accountable. As fortunate as YSpapa is, I hope they can share at least some of the pain and suffering with the fired teammates and find the strength to move forward.
