Leon is also good for close-range damage, so he's viable. His Star Power is also great for healing.

It's great if you can master everything, but if you're still a beginner, I recommend Nita, who is easy to handle! While Shade and Leon are also OP, they require a basic understanding of the game and the brawlers. So, until you get the hang of the game, I recommend Nita. If Nita suits your playstyle, then I'd suggest the more balanced Otis or Chester.
