Controversy continues over some meal expenses following the disclosure of Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's official entertainment expenses. Questions have been raised about the attendance records, especially since the venue for a meeting reportedly attended by 38 people has a maximum capacity of only 19. Furthermore, discrepancies were found between the actual menu prices and the recorded per-person meal costs at some high-end restaurants. Some are alleging that the attendance numbers were inflated to meet the standards of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act. However, the Court Administration and Management Office explained that it was not an intentional inflation of numbers but a simple clerical error during the input of official entertainment expenses. Given that the currently disclosed data alone makes it difficult to conclude intentional manipulation, it seems necessary to verify the facts through actual attendees, receipts, and order details. As these are public funds, I hope the controversy can be resolved cleanly~
