My Hongdae Syndrome
I like things when they aren't famous. Myriad Font Not many friends around me play it. Isekai Idol I even know their less popular songs. I don't really watch YouTubers with over 1 million subscribers. But I do watch Namcook and Underworld? I don't watch channels like Heukhan Namdae or popular game YouTubers. I make a point to comment on channels with under 100 subscribers. I just wanted to support them ๐ฅฒ I like unpopular songs. Like Honey Churros - ii, Hoshimachi Suisei - Caramel Pain, Kanna - Final Chapter (surprisingly many people don't know this), Heavy - Always (also many people don't know this), etc.

I think the poll example is too extreme. For me, I just like what I like. What does it matter if it's 'Hongdae disease' or 'Gangnam disease'? Your own preference is what's important. The term 'Hongdae disease' itself feels a bit cringey.

It seems like you prefer popular stuff, right...? ๐ค Isekai Idol has a huge following by itself... and songs like Hachuu AiA, Suisei, Kanna, and Heavy are all popular in my opinion...
