At the Crossroads of Changing Seasons

With the last holiday of the holiday series, I guess I just wanted to heal for these three days. Yesterday, I was tired from coming down to my parents' house, so instead of posting, I wrapped the chicken coop 🐔 in plastic for winter preparation. I spent the rest of the time playing with the animals who welcomed me so warmly. Today is already the second day of the holiday. I don't even want to think about tomorrow. It feels like it's going to be incredibly sad 😭. For lunch today, I persuaded my parents to come eat makguksu (buckwheat noodles). There's a scenic charm with the stream flowing in front of the restaurant. During the hot July and August when the heat was intense, this place used to be crowded with customers dipping their feet in the stream while waiting for their food, but now only empty chairs remain. Just as the scorching summer quietly departs in the gap between seasons, making way for the cool autumn, time always brings the next season without fanfare. Suddenly, at the tip of the unusually cool breeze, or in the appearance of a friend's children who have grown up so much, I belatedly nod and realize, 'Ah, time has flowed like this.' Autumn is welcome.
