Retro? Hot new American track. Ashe - Stop the Wedding!

The linked music video feels like a thriller movie from before the 80s, and the song itself has a somewhat old-fashioned vibe, but it was released this month and is a popular new song currently in the top 10 on the US and UK charts. Apparently, the artist Ashe was born in 1993, making her 33 this year. She's been active as a musician for a while, and this seems to be her third album. She's a singer-songwriter who seems to participate in most of her songs. While I don't know how her previous two albums did locally, they don't seem to have reached Korea. Although you shouldn't judge artists by their looks, she doesn't seem to be universally considered a beauty, but perhaps because of the music video, she gives off a vibe like an old-time actress. The song's key part, "Stop the wedding," will be easily understood by most, so it seems like it could be quite useful for creating short videos. Imagine singing this song next to someone proposing – there seem to be many fun ways to use it. I think it might become a well-known song in Korea soon too. Better get familiar with it in advance.
