The Tyrant's Chef (2025)
The Tyrant's Chef is a story about a top French chef who time-slips to the past. Upon arriving in an unfamiliar era, the protagonist meets Emperor Lee Heon, who has an absolute sense of taste, and begins to win over the palace staff with their modern culinary skills. The biggest charm of this drama is that you can enjoy delicious food and an intriguing story all at once. The glamorous and mouth-watering food scenes add to the visual enjoyment, and the story of the protagonists, with their contrasting personalities, coming together is also very captivating. Furthermore, romance, comedy, and thrilling palace intrigue blend naturally, allowing for deeper immersion. What's particularly impressive is Emperor Lee Heon's cold and prickly demeanor, and his varied reactions as he tastes the protagonist's cooking, along with the subtle changes in their relationship. The appeal of the unique characters and unexpected plot developments make you curious about what happens next. This drama is recommended if you're looking for a unique historical series or enjoy dramas that combine cooking and romance.

It was fun to watch the cooking process, but the way they described the food's taste was a bit over the top and made it hard to watch.
