Honestly, after watching A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun, I never expected 'A Certain Scientific Accelerator' to have its own standalone story. It was quite a surprise. Although I was interested at first glance, when I saw Frenda, I suddenly remembered her ending. Because she betrayed her teammates, she was torn in half with bare hands by the older sister with brown hair. I found that ending quite difficult to accept. After all, their relationship seemed pretty good, but suddenly they had an internal conflict and killed each other (and died so horribly). Seeing this scene in Magical Index made it difficult for me to continue watching the last season of Railgun that I had left. I thought characters from the main cast wouldn't die in this series 😭😭 So, I'll need some time to slowly come to terms with this one. I might only be able to watch the final season of Railgun after finishing this.

The original work is the BL manga "Here U Are" by Chinese artist D-jun. The release date has not yet been announced. Yu Yang, a cheerful and sociable second-year university student, meets Li Huan, a quiet underclassman with a perpetually expressionless face, while welcoming new students. Their first encounter is not pleasant, and their personalities are completely different, but through repeated interactions, they gradually begin to see sides of each other that are not usually revealed. From initial misunderstandings and friction to gradually understanding each other, the two youths slowly close the distance, unfolding a campus story about love, self-identity, and growth. CVs: Yu Yang: Yuki Inoue Li Huan: Ryota Suzuki I did a quick check on the original work's settings and it seems like a slow-burn campus romance, plus the tall, quiet, younger underclassman trope – that combination is kinda appealing to me 😆 Adding it to my watchlist for now 😁

Not many people know about this anime. And its game is also quite fun. The story is about a company training an idol group. The protagonist is their manager. They encounter some small difficulties along the way but eventually debut successfully. I won't say more. You can check it out on Bahamut.

At first, I thought it was an anime about cosplay from the title. Turns out the main character is a student council president who upholds justice at school. Typically, the female lead starts with a terrible impression of the male lead, then a series of events unfolds, gradually increasing their affection for each other, and also the audience's affection🤤 (lol) A memorable part was when a thief broke into the maid cafe. The male lead climbed through the window to save the female lead, but she subdued the thief (who was actually a regular customer) herself. That's when I realized she wasn't just a damsel in distress. Also, working at the maid cafe was to help her family financially🥲 I also really liked the cross-dressing character inside. He was sharp-tongued but always direct. I feel like he acted that way to help the main couple, and his female disguise was quite cute. I forgot the anime's ending, but I remember the manga's finale was a happy ending with a marriage૮₍ ˶•‸•˶₎ა It was quite sweet~ Anyway, I recommend it.

Here's my haul from today when I passed by Eslite (誠品) on my way to Pier-2 (駁二). I used two Eslite instant-use coupons (exchanged from playio) and paid an additional 60 NTD. The main reason I chose this book is 'I haven't watched the anime yet'. Yes, this point is important. Because the anime light novels I wanted to buy, I've already read through 4-5 times (back then I wasn't interested in other anime, so I could only binge-read them). And the light novels mentioned above were all out of stock. I had to make a reservation and confirm if the store accepted reservations (which was quite troublesome). When a large number of light novels and manga were stocked today (I wasn't really planning for it, I just happened to pass by😅) I quickly found a book I wanted to buy. Coincidentally, I saw that 86 was selling from Volume 1 (I almost bought a side story, good thing I checked). I quickly grabbed it and went to checkout. Sharing the haul from my trip to Pier-2 today. But I haven't bought book covers yet. I'm super afraid the books will get damaged. Although the initial tear on 'Saga of Tanya the Evil' that I borrowed last time wasn't my fault, the tear on the cover is getting bigger and bigger. Even though I taped it up with washi tape, it looks quite nice.

"Dr.STONE" aired its final episode in June 2026. Unexpectedly, today (10/10) during the 'STONE FES.2026' event, it was announced that a sequel anime, "Dr.STONE TERRAFORMING," is in production! "Dr.STONE" is based on the manga by Riichiro Inagaki with illustrations by Boichi, serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' from 2017 to 2022. Although the main manga series has concluded, the two creators later released an official sequel, with stories like "TERRAFORMING" and "4D SCIENCE" included in Volume 27, released in 2024. This "TERRAFORMING," which has now been announced for an anime adaptation, is based on the chapter of the same name from Volume 27, depicting a brand new scientific adventure undertaken by Senku and his friends after the conclusion of the main story! A production announcement PV has been released, but the broadcast date and anime format have yet to be revealed. I was a bit surprised when I saw the news and initially thought it might be an anime-original sequel. However, upon checking, I found out it's an official sequel created by the original authors. Looking forward to it airing! 🥰

The anime, based on the manga by Tsukiya, aired in 2022 with a total of 12 episodes. The story follows Kirishima Tooru, a yakuza lieutenant known as the "Sakuragi Clan's Demon," who is suddenly tasked by the clan head to look after his 7-year-old daughter, Yaeka! Kirishima, originally a fierce individual, begins to learn how to care for a child, and the two gradually build trust as they spend time together. It's a work that combines yakuza elements with heartwarming daily life. I watched this smoothly back then, and while I don't have a particularly strong plot memory, there's one thing I remember very clearly – I especially loved Kirishima's voice😆 Kirishima is voiced by Hosoya Yoshimasa. I had heard him voice other characters before, but I wasn't particularly drawn to him then. This time, however, I found Kirishima's voice incredibly charming! For a while after watching, my ability to recognize Hosoya Yoshimasa's voice increased significantly📈 I also really liked Kirishima's gentle demeanor when taking care of Yaeka, contrasting with his yakuza persona. It was inexplicably cute how Kirishima referred to himself as "Kirishima" when talking to Yaeka! The appearance of a cat was also a plus point😆 Overall, it's a heartwarming series that's easy and comfortable to watch, with occasional serious moments~

It's started airing 🥰 All screenshots are from the OP~ So happy to finally see Satoko, who has both beauty and resilience, and the addictively pathological Shinpei animated! Come watch Shinpei go crazy 😆 We talked about the manga before, here's the link I shared previously: [Playio] Talking about the Manga "Firefly Bride" 💍🦋｜Old Post Revised and Republished https://link.playio.co/7mn96mz

The original work is a boxing-themed webtoon by Korean artist JH, which began serialization in 2019 and has now concluded, surpassing over 1 billion cumulative views worldwide. It also won the Main Prize at the 2024 WORLD WEBTOON AWARDS. The Traditional Chinese version is also available on Taiwan LINE WEBTOON. Legendary boxing coach K has trained numerous world champions but is still searching for his final disciple. One day, he encounters a boy named 'Yu,' who has vacant eyes and shows no interest in his surroundings. Even when bullied, the boy has no intention of fighting back, yet K discovers an astonishing, extraordinary talent within him. Under K's guidance, Yu steps into the world of boxing and faces one opponent after another with overwhelming skill. But with no drive for victory or defeat, what is he fighting for? I haven't read the original, but I found out it's already completed and unlocked on LINE WEBTOON~ After doing some research, it seems this isn't a typical hot-blooded growth sports manga. The protagonist possesses monster-level talent from the start, and the story focuses not only on boxing matches but also on the characters' psychological portrayals, as well as the individual lives and beliefs of different boxers. I'll put it on my watchlist for now and wait for the broadcast date announcement! 😆
