The Key Point
Before a master performer went on stage, his disciple told him his shoelaces were untied. The master nodded in thanks, bent down, and carefully tied them. After the disciple turned away, he bent down again and untied them. An onlooker who saw this asked, puzzled: "Master, why did you untie your shoelaces again?" The master replied: "I am playing a weary traveler. The fact that his shoelaces came undone after a long journey is a detail that can express his exhaustion and fatigue." "Then why didn't you just tell your disciple?" "He carefully noticed my untied shoelaces and enthusiastically told me. I must protect and encourage his enthusiasm. As for why I untied them, there will be many more opportunities to teach him acting in the future, so I can tell him next time." A person can only do one thing at a time. Understanding how to grasp the key point is what makes a true talent.

The Daily Grind: Wide Awake When Holding My Phone, Instantly Drained When I Put It Down
Of all things in the world, 'sleepiness' is the hardest to conquer. I'm sleepy at work, sleepy in meetings, and even when I'm just spacing out, my eyelids automatically half-mast. My boss's voice is like a lullaby on repeat in my ears, every word precisely hitting my sweet spot for dozing off. Then, something mystical happens. As soon as I pick up my phone, it's like a secret switch is flipped. One moment I'm a puddle of goo with my bones removed, the next I'm as alert as if I'd chugged three shots of espresso. The blue light from the screen is my elixir of life, and my fingers scrolling through short videos are a perpetual motion machine. Swipe left, swipe right, scroll up, scroll down. I can go without food or drink, but I absolutely cannot stop scrolling. The most magical part is that a phone is a communication tool in others' hands, but in mine, it's a 'permission slip to stay up late.' It's 11 PM, and I tell myself, 'Just five more minutes, then I'll sleep.' Next thing I know, it's 2:30 AM. And miraculously, I'm not even tired! My eyes are wide open like saucers, ready to fight another 300 rounds. So don't ask me why I have such dark circles under my eyes. It's not that I don't sleep; I'm just practicing a ritual called 'Just one more look' with my phone. It's just that every time the ritual ends, the sun is already rising. While I'm not *entirely* like this, it's pretty much how it is 😆

Indonesian Wildfires
There have been severe wildfires in Indonesia recently, with large areas of forest burning and severe air pollution. Indonesian citizens are exposed to orange skies, and this heavily polluted air is expected to reach Taiwan in the next few days. Remember to wear masks when going out and keep windows and doors closed at home.

The hardest thing to let go of in life is 'money'.
In life, there's a saying that's crude but very real: 'Money isn't everything, but without it, nothing is possible.' Many adults' breakdowns start with a lack of money. Most of us are short on cash. To survive, how many brave souls have had to bow their heads, even risking their lives for a mere few hundred or a few bucks. In the adult world, 'easy' is never part of the equation. What might seem like just the cost of a meal to you, a few hundred dollars, for many struggling people, that's tuition for their kids, utility bills for their home, medicine for their parents... When you're poor, you can't imagine the feeling of being so humble it's like dust. Those who haven't been poor don't understand the hardship of waking early and working like an ox, day and night.

Why does your body suddenly 'shiver' after holding your pee and then urinating all at once?
This is a dual reaction of the nervous system rapidly correcting blood pressure and heat loss! This phenomenon is medically known as 'Post-micturition Convulsion'. When you hold your urine, the expansion of your bladder stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, keeping your blood pressure and heart rate at a higher level. When you expel a large amount of warm urine all at once, two physical and physiological changes occur simultaneously: 1. Instantaneous Heat Loss: The rapid exit of fluid with body temperature (approx. 37°C) causes a slight drop in body temperature. 2. Sudden Blood Pressure Drop and Parasympathetic Nervous System Intervention: The bladder pressure is instantly released, and the parasympathetic nervous system immediately activates a 'blood pressure lowering' mechanism. To prevent dizziness from blood pressure dropping too quickly, the brain instantly switches to the sympathetic nervous system, releasing a small amount of epinephrine and instructing muscles to perform a rapid, minor contraction (shivering) to generate heat and pull blood pressure back up!
