My adopted female cat has a huge personality difference. At first, she didn't react when I named her Pepper, but she responds when I call her 'Big Bro' or 'Boss' 🤣🤣🤣

I'm not sure if this is the right place to share cat pics freely~ My cat's name is Fanta, and I adopted him in 2020 🥰 Before that, my dad was against owning cats or dogs, so growing up, we only had hamsters and parrots at home. I never really thought of myself as a cat person or a dog person; they were all cute, but I wasn't that familiar with them 😆 There was a adoption window at a chain pet supply store near my house, where many mixed-breed cats were waiting for new homes. One day, our family finally decided to get a cat! When we went to pick one out, there was only a little black cat and a little orange and white cat left. My mom has the old superstition that 'black cats are unlucky,' so we chose this little orange and white one. Honestly, I wasn't head-over-heels in love with Fanta at first sight. I just felt at the time that getting a cat required this kind of impulse, otherwise, if I missed this chance, it might just fizzle out again. The adoption itself was free, but a deposit was required, which would be refunded after completing vaccinations and microchipping. After registration and an assessment, we officially brought him home on July 26th, keeping the name the store had given him – Fanta. He was estimated to be about 3-4 months old and was a stray abandoned at the store's entrance. Apparently, the staff found an empty box at the door when they opened up, suspected someone had abandoned a cat, and eventually found him on the safety island across the street! He was so small he even crossed the road, thankfully safe 🥹 And so, the little orange and white cat from back then is now six years old! And I've gone from someone who didn't know if they were a cat person or a dog person to a super cat person 🤣 Now, Fanta is our family's precious little rascal 🥰 Attaching photos of Fanta when I first adopted him, the fifth photo is a recent one 🐱
