<<The Non-Human Girl Who Covets Me>> Thriller Suspense Yuri Manga

(Minor Spoilers) This work tells the story of 'Yaotose Hinako,' a lonely human girl who lost her family in a car accident and yearns for death, and 'Omi Shiori,' a mermaid girl who appears to 'eat her in the most delicious state.' I personally think this character setup is quite good. The ultimate salvation of 'wanting to be eaten' and 'wanting to eat,' which should have been a bloody pact between 'predator and prey,' instead becomes Hinako's sole motivation to live. Regarding the other character, 'Shameihu,' she is actually a fox demon with six tails and sharp fangs. After the car accident where Hinako lost her family, Meihu, to uphold a promise made with Hinako's family, transformed into the appearance of a human girl of the same age and enrolled in high school to stay by Hinako's side for a long time, as she had lost the will to live. On one hand, there's the 'deep sea (Shiori)' who pulls Hinako towards death yet brings salvation, becoming her temporary pillar of support and endpoint. On the other hand, there's 'Gosan (Meihu)' who tries to pull Hinako back to a normal human life, striving to keep her in the human world for a happy daily life. What do you all think: 'If living only brings pain, is being eaten by a monster who deeply loves you a tragedy, or a form of happiness?'
