The Angry Prince is Back
I have one piece of good news and one piece of bad news. Good news is: The Angry Prince that the little prince took away has returned! (I don't know the details either 😅 as long as the book is back) Bad news is: The Angry Prince that was originally on the shelf is gone! 😱😱😱 It's really... a coincidence~ I hope the Angry Prince who was at home didn't run away from home to find his twin brother 😂😂😂

Alishan's Autumn Maples Turn Red, Scenery of Sea of Clouds and Trains Invites Visitors, But Sunrise Viewing Trail to be Closed f
【Travel News, reported by Hong Shujing】 As autumn deepens and the mountain climate becomes increasingly crisp, a cool autumn breeze is already blowing through Taiwan's Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. The changing leaves of plants like the Chinese Maple and Red Maple are waiting for the signal to turn yellow and red. Soon, many of these trees will put on a colorful new coat of yellow, green, orange, and red. The park is announcing that it is about to enter its prime season for viewing autumn foliage. Sometimes, visitors can feel like they are walking among the clouds due to the sea of clouds. This not only attracts a large number of tourists and photography enthusiasts eager to witness the feast of high mountain railways and natural scenery intertwined, but also draws many hikers to Alishan to embark on a pilgrimage along the trails! However, please note that the Sunrise Viewing Trail within the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area will be closed for one year starting from November 1st of this year (2026). Visitors are advised to take note! Every autumn, the Chinese Maples, Trident Maples, and Taiwan Red Maples in the Alishan mountain area gradually turn red. Excellent spots for viewing autumn foliage within the park include 'Zhaoping Park', 'Zhushan Sunrise Viewing Platform', 'Xiaoliwushan Viewing Deck', 'Ciyun Temple', 'Alishan Hotel', 'Alishan Work Station', 'Zhaoping Park', and the 'Gaofeng Trail', as well as areas along Provincial Highway 18 between kilometers 88 and 95. Visitors strolling through ancient, towering tree-lined paths can look up to see red leaves set against a blue sky, with a carpet of fallen leaves forming a golden blanket underfoot, creating a poetic atmosphere. Riding the red forest railway train through the sea of red maple trees is also a classic scene captured by countless photographers.

Nothing is a big deal except life and death
It doesn't mean that nothing in life is important, but rather it's a reminder that many things that make you anxious, angry, or unable to let go right now are not as serious as you imagine when viewed on the scale of 'life and death'. The biggest things in life are none other than life and death. As long as you are alive, there's a possibility to start over for many things: * Lost your job? You can find another one. * Lost money? You can earn it back. * A relationship ended? You can slowly heal. As long as life remains, there is room for maneuver in many situations. Do what you need to do, but don't treat everything as a catastrophic event. If you're alive, you have the right to start anew. Even if you've lost some things, you can still live well and move forward. Except for life and death, many other things are worth taking a little lighter. If it can be solved, solve it; If it cannot be solved, learn to accept it; If it has already passed, slowly let it go. Life is only a few decades long, don't waste too much time on 'unworthy big deals'. May you and I enjoy life!

One Extra
The first time I noticed her was at the convenience store. I bought a rice ball that day, and she was standing next to me, looking at the last strawberry milk on the shelf. Just as I was about to hand it to her, she reached out first. "You want it too?" "I was going to buy it." She thought for a moment and handed the milk to me. "Here, you can have it." "Didn't you want to drink it?" "It's okay." After that, we started having lunch together. She would always grab an extra drink when buying beverages, and I would always bring an extra portion when buying breakfast. Then one day, looking at the two breakfast portions on the table, she suddenly asked: "Do you always buy an extra one on purpose?" I was taken aback for a moment. "Aren't you the same?" She was silent for a few seconds, then lowered her head and smiled. "I thought you just couldn't finish it." "I thought the same thing." She smiled even wider. "Then we don't have to pretend anymore." "Pretend what?" She picked up one of the breakfast portions and pushed it towards me. "Why don't we just say we want to eat together?" I looked at her and couldn't help but smile. "Okay." The next morning, I bought only one breakfast. She looked at her empty other hand and deliberately frowned. "Why did you only buy one today?" I split the breakfast in half. "Because from now on, we only need to buy one." <Liking someone isn't about always preparing an extra portion, but about later habitually sharing your own portion with them.>

From the Observatory Destruction Incident to the Failure of Civic Literacy
Seeing the post from the Nanying Astronomical Museum, it's disheartening to read about exhibits being frequently vandalized, yet visitors complain about 'things being broken and not fixed' or 'wasting money.' The photos of scattered laptop keycaps and shattered screens are shocking. This isn't just simple public property damage; it reflects a deep crisis in social ethics education. The post sharply points out the vandals' mindset: 'It's not my stuff anyway, so it doesn't matter if it's broken.' This is precisely the pain point that educational settings urgently need to address. We've long focused on intellectual education, but we're severely imbalanced in instilling 'public ethics' and 'empathy.' Without respect for public property, all resources are taken for granted and carelessly destroyed, not only draining social costs but also subjecting frontline staff to undeserved criticism. True education shouldn't just stay within textbook knowledge; it must be practiced in daily civic literacy. Parents and teachers should lead by example, teaching 'cherishing' and 'responsibility.' Breaking something shouldn't be met with a shrug and 'it's the country's anyway,' but with an understanding of the time, money, and effort required for repairs. The astronomical museum staff's 'emotional imbalance' is an alarm bell for society. If we continue to tolerate uncivilized behavior, the ultimate victims will be society as a whole. Only by starting with family education and internalizing 'respect for others' and 'caring for public property' as habits can we end this tragedy and leave a more friendly public environment for the next generation. A bunch of adults with clumsy hands raising kids with no public morals... Since there's no punishment, it just breeds a bunch of uncivilized destructive machines 🙄
