🔶 Case Background 🔹An 11-year-old boy in Fengshan, Kaohsiung (a premature baby diagnosed with mild intellectual disability, autism, and ADHD) had been primarily cared for by his 23-year-old cousin since August 2022. 🔹The cousin had previously been reported twice by the school for improper discipline and had received parenting education counseling. 🔶 Incident Details 🔹On the evening of January 1, 2024, the cousin discovered the boy had secretly eaten instant noodles for breakfast and lied about eating toast. Losing control, she slapped him across the face with her bare hands, hit his head and back repeatedly with a plastic stick, and forced him into squatting and alternating squatting positions for nearly 3 hours. 🔹After the boy lost consciousness, the cousin did not immediately take him to the hospital. She left him on the sofa and texted her cohabitant, mockingly saying, "What should I do, he's dying," along with a "facepalm laughing" sticker. 🔹She only took the boy to the hospital the next morning. Upon arrival, he had 21 new and old bruises all over his body. Due to intracranial hemorrhage and brain tissue necrosis, he was declared deceased in late February of the same year. 🔶 Verdict and Latest Developments 🔹The first trial sentenced the cousin to 12 years in prison for intentional injury resulting in death to a child by an adult. 🔹The cousin appealed, claiming she was exhausted from long-term care, lost control momentarily, and had settled with the family for 800,000 NTD, requesting a reduced sentence. 🔹The second trial, held by the Kaohsiung High Court on October 7, 2026, dismissed the appeal, stating that "daily care and brutal violence cannot offset each other" and upheld the 12-year sentence. The judge emphasized that the cousin, knowing the boy's frail condition, had subjected him to abuse for hours and sent a mocking sticker while he was unconscious, demonstrating extreme disregard for life. The case can still be appealed. Only 12 years? Taiwanese justice is too kind to murderers 🙄

The mooncakes I got during the Mid-Autumn Festival only give 10 EXP. It's a terrible event that the mooncakes I obtained after 30 minutes only have this function left.

I really liked JJ's performance and styling for 'Solo Act'. I made an AI image.

When Chen Cheng moved into his new place, there was an old washing machine on the balcony. The landlord said the previous tenant left it, that it still worked, and he could throw it out if he didn't like it. He tried it once. The washing machine ran fine, but the spin cycle was unusually loud, like something was banging around inside. He didn't think much of it and kept using it. One day, while doing laundry, he opened the lid to take the clothes out and found an item that didn't belong to him inside. It was a little girl's dress, pink and soaking wet. He figured the previous tenant must have forgotten it and casually tossed it into the trash. The next day, he did laundry again, and the dress reappeared. This time, it was hanging on the washing machine lid, half-dry, as if someone had taken it out to air dry. Chen Cheng felt creeped out. He stuffed the dress into a plastic bag and threw it into the dumpsters downstairs. That night, he did laundry again, and the spin cycle noise returned. It was especially loud this time, shaking the entire machine. He opened the lid— The dress was inside. But this time, it wasn't wet; it was dry, neatly folded, and placed on top of his most expensive shirt. He picked up the dress and found a note tucked into the pocket: "Thank you for washing my clothes. But you threw me away three times, and I'm very sad." Chen Cheng put the dress back into the washing machine, closed the lid, and didn't dare touch it again. The next morning, he opened the washing machine. The dress was gone. Inside were only his clothes, all washed, spun dry, and neatly folded, stacked inside the machine. He breathed a sigh of relief, thinking it was over. That evening, he was about to take a shower and opened his closet to get his pajamas. Hanging inside the closet was that pink dress. It had gotten bigger, fitting him perfectly. He froze, slowly
