Unsolvable Doubt?
The game is fun to play, but I can't understand why, upon joining a guild, the leader forces everyone to join LINE, and threatens to kick members out if they refuse. I just want to play the game casually. Isn't it enough to join a guild, contribute, and help other members? I really don't get why joining that LINE group is so important. 🤔🤔🤔

Looking at the game's ecosystem, this usually happens in games with not many active players. Then, people inside pull you into LINE, start recommending another game, and pressure you to spend. At this point, you know what this is, right? If game guilds operate like this, I can only say run for your life!!

It's likely a guild aiming for rankings. If you just want guild benefits and to play casually, you can look for guilds with lower rankings. Some games have tags, so you can search for tags like 'casual' or 'laid-back.' Guilds that want to compete for rankings recruit members for easier management. If a member needs to take a break for a few days, they might not get kicked out suddenly. For games that distribute guild rewards based on ranking, having a separate group for management is definitely better. When many players suddenly stop logging in, the management doesn't know if they've quit, if something happened, or if they're just taking a short break. If they're kicked immediately for not logging in, they might worry that the player will join another guild and they won't find a better replacement. Casual/laid-back guilds have less reward security. As people stop playing one by one, no one might kick them out, and eventually, most of these guilds fade away, receiving fewer and fewer rewards. Players who want more rewards will have to keep finding new guilds. There are pros and cons to both. If it were me, I'd still join the group; communication would be easier.

Some games even require you to add their Discord.
