2026 Taoyuan Shopping Festival Officially Kicks Off on August 1st

Could the cost of a chicken leg bento box potentially let you achieve financial freedom early? A 'city-wide invoice frenzy' epic battle is about to unfold in Taoyuan this August. The best part? The entry barrier is incredibly low. With just a few coins, you could win a grand prize in the tens of millions! The '2026 Taoyuan Shopping Festival' officially kicks off on August 1st! This year's total prize value is over 20 million NTD, but there's a 'super important point' you need to highlight before jumping in. This year is different from previous years: the official website will no longer accept invoice registrations! The Economic Development Bureau specifically reminds everyone: 'This year's mechanism has been fully upgraded. To participate in the event, you must register through the 'Taoyuan Citizen Card APP'.' This means the smart move is to download the app right now. Once August 1st arrives, whether you're buying bubble tea, late-night snacks, or filling up your scooter, if your invoice is over 100 NTD, scan it immediately to secure your spot! Every 100 NTD spent earns you an extra chance, so the more you spend, the more chances you get. Looking at the prize list will surely make you smile: 💰 Daily draw for 10,000 NTD cash 🎟️ Weekly giveaway of 15,000 NTD gift certificates 🚗 Monthly lucky draw for a new car 👑 The grand finale is a massive 10,000,000 NTD cash prize! If you think that's all, you're underestimating the firepower this event packs. In conjunction with the autumn '2026 Taiwan Design Expo', spending in Taoyuan between 9/24 and 10/11 will also give you a chance to win a 'Taoyuan-Japan round-trip flight + hotel package'!
