FamilyMart New Drink Tasting (Personal Thanks) + Fool's Dry Noodles - Made me feel like a fool 😆

This morning while browsing FamilyMart, I discovered new drinks: Afternoon Time - Rich Orange Cocoa Milk Tea and Fule - Signature Brewed Milk Tea. Both were originally priced at $38. As someone who loves trying new things, I had to buy them to taste!!! Although 7-Eleven has them too, 7-Eleven had no promotions. 📍＜Rich Orange Cocoa Milk Tea＞ Promotion Period: October 28, 2026 (Wed) to November 10, 2026 (Tue) Latest Offer: Buy 2 for $58 (Original price $38 each, averaging $29 per bottle) At noon, I went to a Cantonese noodle shop for lunch. I found Fool's Dry Noodles and was curious, so I ordered it to try. Paired with hot and sour soup. While waiting for the food, I first tasted the Afternoon Time - Rich Orange Cocoa Milk Tea. The first sip, I thought~ Wow, the orange scent is so fragrant! And the milk tea flavor was stronger than the chocolate flavor. Overall, it's more like a smooth, sweet milk chocolate au lait. It's a bit too sweet, but I can accept it. Online reviews are quite divided. There's also a hidden tip for making it taste better: add fresh milk or black coffee. Fool's Dry Noodles are actually Fuzhou Dry Noodles. The most common and credible theory is a misinterpretation of Taiwanese pronunciation, similar to the Taiwanese word '煠寡麵'. There are other theories too. I've screenshotted and shared them. I think the second theory better matches my feeling when I saw the noodles 😆 Added chili for extra flavor! The hot and sour soup was somewhere between thick and clear, and it was delicious!! But it wasn't sour, so I added black vinegar!! My delicious lunch on the first workday after the long holiday has ended.
