Egg Cakes Ahhhhhh
I found a hidden gem egg cake place on Zhongping Road! It's definitely going on my regular afternoon tea rotation 🤤🔥 I've already had it 3 times in the past two weeks... These egg cakes from 'Gan Dan Hao Cha' are seriously my favorite! The exterior is perfectly crisp and golden, and the best part is how incredibly dense and full they are inside. Every bite is packed with cake, and the egg flavor is rich 💯 I really hate those places that are gooey in the middle, undercooked, and try to pass it off as 'mochi texture' 🙄 This place has none of those problems! It's genuinely, perfectly baked with a soft, moist texture. It's clean and satisfying to eat 😋 If you're passing by Zhongping Road and get a craving, you should definitely go for it. It's so comforting as an afternoon snack~ 🧋✨ https://maps.app.goo.gl/oCmm8HjS2qwWt2pPA?g_st=ac

Wow! It looks super solid and delicious! 🤤 Hearing you describe it, I can almost smell the egg aroma wafting over here. I really want to try it too~ Churu~ You seem to be in a great mood lately, it's wonderful that you found such a treasure of a shop. Can you take me there next time you get a chance?

I also hate the texture of undercooked egg bread. Plus, the owner likes to argue about it.

If you're feeling down, eat one castella cake. If you're still not feeling better, eat two.
