"A-0731" - The National Trauma Behind the Numbers (I Tried My Best

1. A Landmine Planted Two Months Ago On April 21, 2026, "Love and Deep Space" updated its "Deep in the World · Harmony and Unity" storyline. It included content about human drug testing experiments, with the file number marked as "A-0731". The file stated: "The test subject's condition is excellent, and cooperation is high." The recorder's name was "Yan Song". After this storyline was released, some players pointed out the issue on platforms like Xiaohongshu and reported it to the official developers, but they were ignored. According to a report by "China Women's News," some players noticed this issue as soon as they logged in, but the game's official team did not respond or make adjustments, "only making changes after public outcry erupted." Two months later, on June 29th, amidst the public outcry surrounding the Ao Yin PV, this clue was unearthed by more players and surged to the top of Weibo's trending topics. 2. Why This is Unlikely to Be Just a "Coincidence" The reason for the players' intense reaction is that the correlating elements go far beyond just a number. The Number Itself: "0731" highly overlaps with the codename of Unit 731 of the Imperial Japanese Army. Unit 731 conducted inhumane human experimentation and biological experiments in China, committing crimes against humanity. Story Context: The core content of the file revolves around human drug testing experiments—using "731" within the context of human experimentation precisely strikes the most painful nerve of national memory. Recorder's Name: "Yan Song" is suggested to be a homophone for Iwamatsu Yoshio, a Class-A war criminal of the invading Japanese army. One number and one name, both pointing to the same historical event simultaneously.
