A Little Complaint, I Guess

I've been constantly telling my dad to switch our internet because it's unbearably slow at home. Especially when I saw the bill stating our internet speed was 6M/2M, I was utterly speechless. That's like a 10-year-old 4G ultra-low data plan! Since we originally signed with Far EasTone, we went to them. Unexpectedly, Far EasTone recommended a wireless device that supposedly supports up to 500M and has 200G of data. However, in reality, that 500M is the total capacity of their base station, shared among all receivers in the surrounding area. So, the actual bandwidth we could get was not only small but also extremely unstable. How unstable, you ask? When it was fast, it was really fast, but from time to time, it would get so slow that even opening Facebook, Google web pages/images, or watching short videos on YouTube would cause lag, or it wouldn't load at all, or it would disconnect. Not to mention playing online games... Others play games happily, while I play nervously 🫠 I was always afraid that halfway through a boss fight, the internet would overload, latency would skyrocket, and by the time it recovered, my character would already be dead 🙃 And this wasn't an occasional issue; it happened almost every day... As of today, it's been exactly one month, and my dad and I decided to just cancel it and go back to a wired broadband connection. It's better than me getting so angry one day that I accidentally smash the device 🙃
