The People Inside the Wall 01 (Original Fiction, Suspense)

Chapter 1: Bloodstain on the Wall On a stormy night, 17-year-old Gao Zhenxiang walked into the counseling room, drenched. His eyes, however, were fixed on the corridor behind him. "Dad, don't come in." Wang Jing'an turned around, but the corridor was empty. After sitting down, Gao Zhenxiang suddenly asked, "Teacher, have you ever hit your child?" Wang Jing'an admitted she had accidentally hit her child once and apologized. Gao Zhenxiang lowered his head, revealing a cold smile. "My dad never apologizes." "He loved grabbing my head and smashing it against the wall." As he spoke, he gently mimed the motion of impact with his hand. Bang... Bang... Bang... Wang Jing'an subconsciously looked at the wall and found a dark red bloodstain appearing on the white surface, like a mark left by someone repeatedly hitting their forehead against it. She rubbed her eyes. When she looked again, the bloodstain was gone. "Teacher, you saw it, right?" Gao Zhenxiang asked calmly. Before she could answer, a loud noise suddenly came from outside the door. Bang! Wang Jing'an immediately opened the door. The corridor was still empty, with only a trail of wet footprints leading from the doorway into the counseling room. Those were not Gao Zhenxiang's footprints. They were the footprints of an adult man. She slowly turned her head, only to see Gao Zhenxiang looking at the empty space beside him and softly saying: "Dad, why are you still following me?"
