The Person Inside the Wall 02 (Original Fiction, Suspense)

Chapter 2: The Non-existent Person Wang Jing'an stood at the counseling room door, unable to look away for a long time. The wet footprints at Gao Zhenxiang's feet didn't lead back or extend outside the door, as if the person who left them was still standing quietly inside. She crouched down to touch the floor; the water marks were still cold. However, when she looked up again, the footprints had vanished without a trace. During the conversation, Gao Zhenxiang kept looking at the empty chair beside him and said calmly, "Dad is always here, you just can't see him." Just then, the clock on the wall suddenly stopped at 4:44 PM. After a brief moment, it resumed its normal operation, making Wang Jing'an even more uneasy. After the counseling session, as Gao Zhenxiang was leaving, he suddenly asked, "Would you be scared if someone was always following you?" Wang Jing'an looked out the window and saw another tall man standing behind him with a black umbrella. However, after a flash of lightning, the black umbrella disappeared into thin air, leaving only Gao Zhenxiang walking alone in the rain. She hurriedly checked the surveillance footage, but the receptionist insisted that Gao Zhenxiang had been alone the entire time. On the screen, before entering the room, he seemed to be holding the door for someone, his lips faintly forming the words: "Dad, please come in." In the final second before the video ended, a tall, hunched figure briefly appeared beside him and then instantly vanished, and the time in the bottom right corner of the surveillance feed quietly jumped to 04:44:44.
