Has anyone completed the 2300 star collection?

I just finished collecting 480 stars yesterday and wanted to keep challenging myself to collect 2300 stars. But today while playing, I kept encountering the 'watch ad x2' option, which made me hesitate. I wanted to ask players who have played further, will all the ads from now on become x2?
