Lazily Lying in Bed

I'm awake, but I really don't want to get up. Yesterday, I went to Shiqian District to see the hot air balloons and unexpectedly encountered an extra situation. A little boy had gotten lost from his family. I saw him walking and crying in the venue, but his eyes were filled with helplessness. It didn't seem like he was crying because he couldn't get a toy. I told my family, but they gave me a response that chilled me to the bone: "Don't meddle in other people's business. Maybe he's just upset and crying." After hearing that, I didn't want to argue anymore. I immediately followed him. He was walking towards the central stage. Next to the stage was the resting tent area for the police officers from the Shiqian Branch. In less than 20 seconds, another civilian came to check on the little boy. But she said something that made me feel very scared. She said to the little boy, "How about I take you to find your mom?" Bad memories immediately flooded my mind. I shouted loudly, "There are police officers ahead, go ask the Shiqian Branch for help!" Fortunately, she just wanted to help. She took the little boy's hand and quietly walked away with him to find a police officer. After I explained the situation to the officers, I was relieved to confirm that the little boy's case was already being handled. Suddenly, I felt a mix of emotions. Indifference, enthusiasm, malice, slander, and even murderous intent. Am I overthinking this? I didn't blame anyone, but the little boy's helplessness made me think about how all the big and small child abuse and kidnapping cases in this world, that can't be handled or aren't handled perfectly, always end in regret and are unacceptable. I'm going to run extra hard later, and after telling you all this, I really want to cry. I'm going to run 50,000 meters until I don't feel sad anymore.
