God of War (Live-Action)

Amazon's live-action 'God of War' has finally confirmed its new Kratos. According to reports from 'Variety' and 'Deadline', Dave Bautista, known for his roles as Drax in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and in 'Dune', has officially signed on to play Kratos, replacing the original actor Ryan Hurst. However, this casting change isn't just a simple shift in creative direction. Ryan Hurst suffered a severe biceps injury in June while filming a stunt scene, requiring a lengthy recovery period. The production team considered waiting for his recovery, but ultimately decided to recast to keep the production moving forward. What's more troublesome is that Hurst had already filmed some content prior to this. Therefore, after Dave Bautista joins, some of the already completed Kratos scenes will have to be reshot. Production is expected to resume in Vancouver. From 'Drax' to 'God of War', the 57-year-old Bautista is now truly going to wield the Leviathan Axe. Now, there's only one thing left to see: When he first shouts "BOY!", will you be able to accept this new Kratos?
