The most heartbreaking moments in 'Pikmin' aren't when your own character dies, but when you watch the Pikmin you've carefully raised get eaten by monsters, or get devoured by nocturnal beasts because they couldn't make it back to the nest in time. I'm sure everyone has experienced these frustrating moments: 1. Positioning Error: While leading your team across a bridge, you accidentally drop a whole squad of non-blue Pikmin into the water. The screen fills with their drowning souls, and your heart shatters. 2. Greed Kills: It's almost sunset, but you insist on carrying that last big item. When the countdown ends, the Pikmin who couldn't make it back become tragic dinners for monsters. 3. Area of Effect: Encountering a giant boss that breathes fire or stomps from above, and failing to dodge, results in dozens of little cuties vanishing in an instant. Although the gameplay is accompanied by such pain, it's precisely this sense of urgency that makes every moment of successfully rescuing Pikmin and completing the mission safely even more precious.
