About My Ghostly Family Affair

☆This movie is great and hilarious, highly recommend 👍👍 Starring three major acting powerhouses Greg Hsu, Po-Hung Lin, and Gingle Wang, and directed by the billionaire box office director Cheng Wei-hao, it became the highest-grossing Taiwanese Mandarin film of the year with NT$360 million. It received 8 Golden Horse Award nominations, including Best Feature Film. Greg Hsu and Po-Hung Lin were both nominated for Best Actor, and it won Best Adapted Screenplay. It was also selected to represent Taiwan in the Oscars for Best International Feature Film. In addition to the popular spin-off series 'The Marry My Dead Body Series', it was also acquired by Thailand for a remake, which became another box office success as 'My Precious Ghost Wedding'. The story follows Wu Ming-han, a homophobic male police officer who accidentally picks up a red envelope from the ground. To his surprise, the person in the red envelope is a man! Forced into a ghost marriage with a male ghost, Ming-han faces a streak of bad luck. Not only can he not get rid of his ghost husband, but he also messes up the drug bust case that his colleague Lin Tzu-ching had been working on. To salvage the situation, Ming-han, who is both homophobic and afraid of ghosts, has no choice. Even though humans and ghosts walk different paths, he must team up with his ghost husband Mao-mao to track down the killer. Thus begins a ridiculously absurd journey filled with laughter and tears!
