Apparently the original version is: Monday, monkey wears new clothes Tuesday, monkey is hungry Wednesday, monkey goes climbing Thursday, monkey has an exam Friday, monkey goes dancing Saturday, monkey goes to Douliu Sunday, monkey has fun all day Or Monday, monkey wears new clothes; Tuesday, monkey is hungry; Wednesday, monkey goes climbing; Thursday, monkey takes an exam; Friday, monkey goes dancing; Saturday, monkey goes for a stroll; Sunday, monkey celebrates its birthday. Then there's a parody version... but this is the one I remember🤣 Monday monkey wears new clothes Tuesday monkey is hungry Wednesday monkey goes climbing mountains Thursday monkey takes an exam Friday monkey goes dancing Saturday monkey goes to Douliu Sunday monkey paints the wall Monday monkey blows a trumpet Tuesday monkey goes drinking Wednesday monkey kicks the bucket But I looked online and there seem to be many versions for 'Sunday' 🤔
