Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Under Repair)

Volume 56 (Uninvited Guest - Part 2) Recap: So what do you know about the boss? Are you satisfied after hearing what I said, boss? Xiao Pei: Satisfied! It seems the boss has a good impression of you! Otherwise, given the boss's personality, he would have been nagging already. Me: Actually, even if the boss couldn't accept it, I wasn't planning to, let the boss find an opportunity to make things difficult! After all... it's already after work... It's our own time, he has no right to interfere with employees' private matters! I said jokingly. Besides, I'm not... Having dinner alone with the boss's wife! Would the boss need to nag from the side? Listening to me, Xiao Pei nodded as if she understood... Suddenly... with a questioning tone...? Xiao Pei: No! Why were you having dinner with the boss's wife? Me: It was an example... and are you not focusing on the main point? Xiao Pei: You still haven't answered me... Why were you having dinner with the boss's wife? Me, with three lines on my face... Me: Fine! Fine! I won't have dinner with the boss's wife. I'll find someone else next time... Xiao Pei: You want to find someone else? Me: Uh... you're going too far! We're just colleagues, you're not... Don't keep pestering me! Seeing my serious denial, she suddenly chuckled. Xiao Pei: You scared me? Looks like you have a weakness too! I thought you had no weaknesses, how interesting...! Me: You... you're pretty good! Seeing me, who is usually eloquent, speechless, Xiao Pei was in a great mood! She looked like she had won a battle! After dinner, I went to pay the bill, and Xiao Pei seemed to remember something? Wait! To be continued...
