杯弓蛇影
晉朝時，有一位叫樂廣的人邀請朋友到家裡喝酒。朋友一舉起酒杯，卻隱約看到杯子裡有一條小蛇在游動，雖然心裡害怕，但還是硬著頭皮喝了下去。回家後，朋友立刻生了重病。樂廣得知後覺得很奇怪，回到當天喝酒的位置研究，才發現原來是牆上掛著一張雕刻著蛇的「弓」，影子正好投射在朋友的酒杯裡。樂廣把真相告訴朋友後，對方的病馬上就好了。 引申含意：比喻因虛幻的無形事物而產生恐懼或疑神疑鬼。
